With the free software
program there is no software to install or download. You write the text portion of your business plan using an
online word processor
and build the financial tables (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, etc.), graphs and charts using online forms.
Financial tables and charts can be easily inserted into the text portions of your business plan. When an amount in any financial
table is modified the appropriate calculations are automatically performed, updating all the related data throughout the
business plan. When you are finished you can save the whole business plan in whatever format you prefer on your personal
computer.
The business plan software program uses a centralized database server that allows for dynamic financial forecasts. The information
on the database is saved (for up to six months) with a password and username that only you know, and can be directly saved
to your PC at anytime.

Steps to Building your Business Plan |
| Edit the Table of Contents |
The Table of Contents is essentially an outline of the Business Plan. By editing the Table of Contents you will be building your outline. |
| Write the Text |
Fill in the outline (from the step above) with text. Just do what you can; you can add more text latter. |
| Choose the Financial Template |
Rather than build the financial forecast from scratch, you select a completed financial forecast from 1 of 20 standard industry types. |
| Edit the Financial Forecast |
Edit the financial forecast (from the step above) to fit your company's projections. |
| Select the Graphs and Charts |
Graphs and Charts are automatically build from the financial forecast. You just need to choose which graphs you want to use and where you want them to appear in your plan. |
| Formatting |
You choose the format (colors, fonts, line spacing, etc.) that you want to use. Formatting is applied to the whole plan (financials, graphs and the text). You can change the formatting at anytime. |
| Print and or Save to your PC |
You can print your plan, save it to your PC or create a 'View Only' user name and password so others can view your plan online. |
